Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association and Liberty Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding, which creates new opportunities for farmers who are members of the association. The special agro card will allow the farmer to have access to financial resources at any time of the year on preferential terms, purchase working capital and finance operating expenses in full compliance with agro-technical deadlines, which will significantly increase the quantity and quality of crops, reduce losses and losses.
Cardholders will enjoy a grace period, which provides for the fulfillment of obligations in the post-harvest period.

Ferrero will buy hazelnuts from GHGA member farmers
Georgian Hazelnut Growers Association and Ferrero subsidiary. AgriGeorgia has signed an agreement under which Ferrero will purchase hazelnuts processed by the Association and its partner hazelnut drying and storage centers. Which is an additional incentive for hazelnut farmers who have fully implemented the recommended agro-technical measures.
Representatives of Ltd. AgriGeorgia conducted a training for the specialists of the Hazelnut Drying and Storage Centers, with the aim of reconciling the quality standards and the methodology of analysis according to which the obtained raw materials will be evaluated.

On July 22nd, 2020 I had the honor to be invited to the Embassy of Georgia in Greece. We have made a presentation to our ambassador Mr. David Dondua and provided him information about GHGA and Georgian hazelnut. Specifics steps of cooperation have been agreed to stimulate Georgian hazelnut popularization in Greece.
